Looking up saved credentials and then typing them into web forms is tedious, updating passwords is messy, and there’s no easy way to protect your passwords if the notebook’s lost or stolen. ![]() (You would be amazed how many variations on this theme are available online.) If you know someone using one of these old-school tools, tell them it’s a terrible idea. The simplest password manager of all is the trusty analog version: a paper notebook.
